Envisioning her life around the motto ‘Anybody can breathe therefore Anybody can practice yoga’, she has made it her life’s mission to explore the potential of yoga as a holistic approach to health and well-being.
In the year 2012 she moved back to India where she practiced yoga under guruji the great Dr. Asana Andiappan. Rekindled with the love for Yoga she traveled the length and breadth of the country, from Himalaya to Rishikesh to study and understand the different styles, aspects of Yoga, focusing especially on how Yoga can help in alleviating pain from the human body.
For the past five years Dr Kavitha has been engaged in offering complementary therapy to cancer patients free of cost. She uses yoga as a means to help affected people to relax and cope with tiredness (fatigue), stress, anxiety and depression. Her methods have helped patients alleviate pain and thereby lift their mood, enhancing their overall well-being. Several patients have claimed that her sessions have helped them tremendously in their road to recovery.
